A full record
A full record keeps what you do on the walk, and only if you turn it on.
The switch in Settings
We keep a full record only if you turn it on in Settings, which you can do once you have signed in. We note when you turned it on and which version of this page you agreed to.
You can turn it off in Settings at any time. We add nothing to it from that moment.
What it keeps
We note the time of each of these.
- We keep each reply you choose in a conversation, with the conversation and the line it answers and whether it was right.
- We keep each line you press to hear again, with its words.
- We keep each change you make to the pace of the recordings.
- We keep each answer you give in a phrasebook quiz, with the word and whether it was right.
- We keep the names you type for the people who come with you.
The privacy policy lists what we keep for every walker, and a full record adds these to it.
What it does not keep
We do not keep recordings of your voice, because the walk does not listen to you. If it ever does, keeping those recordings will be a choice of its own.
Deleting it
Write to support@thetrail.online from the email address you used to sign up. We then delete everything we hold about you, the full record included.
